About Tara Chiusano

a.k.a. "Miss Tara"

Tara Chiusano, a graduate of James Madison University, started her career teaching early childhood music at a company in Washington, D.C. called Musikids, Inc.  She has since gone on to write original music for young children and has performed at various venues throughout the mid-Atlantic.  Having recently moved to the Atlanta area, she has performed her original program at Fulton County Central Library, East Atlanta Branch Library, Inman Park Cooperative Preschool, and Little Shop of Stories. A trained Music Together® teacher, Tara currently teaches music and movement classes all over the Atlanta metro area.  She hopes to hit it big one day and become the next Laurie Berkner!  Tara's three original CDs, Music for Traveling Tots, Jelly Bean Tree, and Walk the Plank! are available for sale at Little Shop of Stories in Decatur, GA and on iTunes, Amazon.com, CD Baby, and other major online retailers.  Currently she performs around town and teaches at Eclectic Music and Georgia Shakespeare.
